Le Fief-Gesté a éliminé Saint-André-des-Eaux pour arriver au 7e tour.

Le tirage au sort du 7e tour de la Coupe de France a été effectué pour les deux clubs du Maine-et-Loire encore en lice avant l'entrée d'Angers Sco au mois de décembre. Saumur (N2) et Le Fief-Gesté (D2) sont les derniers représentants du département avant ce tour qui se déroulera le week-end du 16 et 17 novembre. Le Saumur OFC recevra l'US Concarneau, leader de N1 et Le Fief-Gesté accueillera l'US Monnaie (R1), club d'Indre-et-Loire et classé 12e en championnat.
Au 8e tour, le vainqueur de la rencontre Saumur (N2) - Concarneau (N1) recevra le Stade Lavallois (L2).
